A cold email should read like it was written for the one person who gets it. Word-for-word copies don't: a recipient who sees a colleague's identical email knows at once it was a template.
Sequence steps now support spintax. Write alternatives inline:
{Hi|Hey} ${first_name} — {quick question|one question} about ${company_name}.
Each generated message picks a variant at random, so each email reads like a note to one person rather than a template. It works anywhere in the subject or body, and nests, so you can vary a phrase inside an already-varied sentence.
Use it on the structural parts — greetings, transitions, sign-offs — where variation costs nothing. The argument itself should still be one thing you believe.
