Free cold email experiment planner

Can this experiment work, and what will it take? The planner shows the cost of getting an answer: how many emails the Signal Check needs to reach a verdict at your threshold, and it tells you plainly when the answer is no.

Sellvance doesn't tell you what reply rate is normal. It asks what would make the channel pay for itself in your economics, and tells you whether you hit it.

One campaign, one target

An experiment is one campaign read against a reply-rate target you set before sending. The planner does not compare variants: it sizes a single test that ends in "works", "doesn't work", or a grey zone you agreed on in advance.

A threshold from your economics

Reply-rate benchmarks describe other senders' lists, not your product. Enter your contract value, how often a reply becomes a deal and what one email really costs you, and the planner suggests the rate at which cold email pays for itself.

Where the numbers come from

The email count is the smallest sample with an 80% chance that the Signal Check's exact binomial test reaches a verdict at 5% significance. Connects use the public price list; days assume five sending days a week.

When the answer is no

Rates too close together, a sample too large for one precise test, or a timeline too long to wait for: the planner says so and tells you what to change, before you spend a single email.

In the app the planner counts the companies that match your criteria, flags a segment too small for the experiment, and shares the plan as a link or a markdown file.
