Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026 · AUP v1

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the services of SDVSOFT OÜ, a company registered in Estonia with registry code 12997702, having its address at Sepapaja 6, Tallinn, Estonia, 15551, operating as Sellvance.com (“Sellvance”, “we”, “us”). It is part of our Terms of Service and expands on section 3a of those Terms. If the two differ, the stricter rule applies.

Sellvance is built for honest, relevant business-to-business outreach. These rules exist to protect the people you write to, your company and domains, and the infrastructure every Sellvance customer shares. Our Sending Standards explain, in plain language, the checks the platform runs to help you stay within them.

1. Business-to-business only

  • You may contact people only in their professional capacity, at their business address, about an offer that is relevant to their role, industry or employer.
  • You must not use Sellvance for consumer (B2C) marketing, or to contact private individuals, minors, or anyone in a personal capacity.
  • You must not email personal mailboxes (for example gmail.com, outlook.com, yahoo.com, icloud.com, gmx or web.de addresses). The platform excludes them from campaigns.

2. Where your contacts come from

  • You must not upload or email purchased, rented, traded or harvested lists, or lists scraped in bulk from websites or platforms whose terms forbid it.
  • When you import contacts, you must state truthfully where they came from.
  • You must have a lawful basis to contact every person you add, under the law of the country they are in.

3. No sending where the platform blocks it

Sellvance applies the rules of each recipient's country and leaves out contacts that cannot lawfully be emailed. You must not try to get around these checks. In particular, you must not:

  • send, or try to send, to countries or people the platform has excluded;
  • give a false country, company, role or source for a contact to change how it is treated;
  • upload consent records for consent that was never given, or that you cannot prove;
  • re-add, under a different address or workspace, a person who has opted out;
  • use the API, the MCP server, AI agents or any other tool to do what the web app would not allow.

In some countries business email is allowed only with the recipient's prior consent. If you upload consent records so that those contacts can be emailed:

  • you are responsible for having each consent, for having obtained it lawfully, and for being able to prove it;
  • each record must reflect real consent: when it was given, how, and the text the person agreed to;
  • we may ask you for evidence of any consent record at any time, and we may pause your sending until you provide it;
  • uploading consent records that do not exist, or that you cannot back up, is a serious breach of this AUP.

5. Honest messages

You must not send deceptive content. That includes:

  • subject lines that start with “Re:” or “Fwd:” when there was no earlier conversation, or fake thread history;
  • false or misleading claims about your product, your company, the recipient, or how you got their address;
  • made-up referrals or a made-up prior relationship;
  • impersonating another person, brand or organisation, including through lookalike domains;
  • hiding or disguising who the sender is.

This applies to text you write and to text written for you by the platform's AI features.

6. Sender identity and opt-out

  • Every message must show who really sent it: your legal company name and a valid postal address. Sellvance adds these to every email, and you must keep them accurate.
  • Every message must offer a clear, working way to opt out. Sellvance adds a one-click unsubscribe to every email.
  • You must honour every opt-out, whether it comes by link, by reply or by any other route. Opt-outs are permanent across your workspace.

7. Prohibited content and offers

You must not use Sellvance to promote or send:

  • adult or sexual content, or dating services;
  • gambling, betting or lotteries;
  • cryptocurrency, token or other investment schemes;
  • unlicensed pharmaceuticals, or health claims you cannot support;
  • financial scams, “get rich quick” offers, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, debt relief or payday loans;
  • weapons, controlled substances, or anything illegal where you or the recipient are;
  • phishing, malware, or links that hide where they lead;
  • hate speech, harassment or threats;
  • political campaigning, religious messages, or anything else not tied to a genuine business offer.

8. Protecting shared infrastructure

  • You must not try to get around sending caps, automatic pauses, domain authentication or any other limit we apply.
  • You must not register or use domains that imitate another company's brand.
  • You must also follow the terms of any mailbox or domain provider you use through Sellvance.

9. What happens if this policy is broken

We monitor bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, blocklist listings and abuse reports. When we see a breach or a serious risk of one, we may act without notice. Usually we act in steps:

  1. Pause. We pause the affected mailbox, campaign or workspace and tell you why.
  2. Suspension. If the problem repeats or is not fixed, we suspend sending, or the account, while we review it.
  3. Termination. For serious or repeated breaches, we close the account.

We may skip steps when the breach is serious, for example fake consent records, deceptive content or prohibited offers. Section 3b and 3c of the Terms of Service describe our enforcement rights in full.

10. Reporting abuse

If you received an email sent through Sellvance that breaks these rules, tell us at abuse@sellvance.com or through our abuse report form. If you want us to stop holding your data and keep every Sellvance customer from emailing you, use Remove my data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as laws and mailbox-provider rules change. Each version has a number and a date at the top of this page. When the version changes, we ask you to accept the new one before your next campaign starts.
