Industry classification is a blunt instrument. "Manufacturing" covers a company that welds ship hulls and a company that 3D-prints dental aligners, and the keyword tags that were supposed to fix that are patchy at best.

Company search now runs full-text search over company descriptions. Search for the words your prospects use about themselves — "cold chain logistics", "clinical trial recruitment", "aftermarket parts" — and match on meaning rather than on whichever bucket someone dropped them into years ago.

In practice this is the filter to reach for first. Keyword coverage across the database is thin; description text is not.
